Coming from an East Indian background, growing up in Suburban Seattle, and making Oakland, CA her home her style of comedy is witty, intelligent, and rich with the cultural experience of an Urban East Indian American Woman. In the last few years she has hit comedy stages around the country with a force of a thousand dancing elephants. In 2010, her second time ever on stage, she advanced and eventually won San Francisco's Speech Therapy Comedy Competition. In 2013 she advanced to the Semi-Final round of the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition. She was featured on Susan Alexander's Five Funny Females Comedy Tour in 2010 & 2014. She has been a repeat feature on Jabari Davis & Associates Showcase at San Francisco's Historic Purple Onion. Since her first time on stage she has participated in competitions and comedy festivals, including the 2014 Women in Comedy Festival, Boston, the Desi Comedy Festival, the LA Comedy Festival & The Sonoma County Comedy Festival, all of which lead her to her first TV appearance on Season 9 of NBC's, Last Comic Standing! And most recently MTV's Beyond the Wall...
